Welcome!

Welcome to my new photography project blog for Photography III at Hood College, titled "Sign-O-Rama: A Collection of Vintage/Modern Signs and Architecture."  Here is the first set of photographs in this project:

Vintage Woodsboro Liquors Sign

Vintage neon "Liquors" sign outside of Woodsboro Liquors in
Woodsboro, Maryland.
Vintage T.R. Saylor Hardware Storefront (w/Kem-Tone Paint window sign)

Storefront of the now-defunct T.R. Saylor/True Value Hardware
store in Walkersville, Maryland (with vintage Kem-Tone Paint
window sign).  The store closed its doors in the Summer of 2015.

Kem-Tone Paint Sign (Angled Close-Up)
Angled close-up of the vintage Kem-Tone Paint sign in the window of
the former T.R. Saylor/True Value Hardware store in Walkersville,
Maryland.  According to the American Chemical Society, Kem-Tone
was a brand of interior paint made by Sherwin-Williams.

To all subscribers/readers who have stumbled across this new blog, thanks for coming!  Be on the lookout for more photographs of vintage/modern signs and buildings.

All the best,
